In the year 1516, Sir Thomas More wrote Utopia. The book was written in Latin and it was published in Louvain, which is now Belgium. It has been known that Utopia is a work of sarcasm. The author with the use of wit and phrases has articulately criticized Europe's political sleaze and religious hypocrisy. In portraying Utopia, the author have mentioned about some steps outside the boundaries of orthodox Catholicism. The ultimate goal is to designate areas of development for Christian society.
